ODSY workshop is owned and operated by Soojin and Yina, a husband-and-wife team.
Our name, ODSY (pronounced odd-see) comes from the word odyssey, meaning a long journey full of adventures. We believe in simple, timeless designs that can be part of your everyday journey.
Every ODSY product is made by hand, from leather carefully sourced in the USA, and crafted with love. We strive to make the highest quality handmade goods.
ODSY began when Yina was looking for a simple envelope clutch made out of leather. When she couldn’t find one, Soojin decided to make one for her. She was so impressed with the results that they decided to start a leather goods business together.
In 2015, ODSY moved into a small shoe repair shop on Taraval Street in San Francisco. The existing business—Paul’s Shoe Repair—had been in the neighborhood for almost three decades, and we decided to apprentice with Paul to learn about shoe repair and keep the shop going for locals.
In 2020, ODSY moved to a new space on Irving Street.
So within our little storefront in the Sunset, we create unique handmade goods and we also repair shoes, bags, and more. Come by our workshop to say hello!
